RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be completely satisfied with your order and we would hope to resolve any problems you may have. If, however, you are in any way unhappy with your purchase we will promptly exchange the item, issue a credit or refund you.
Terms and Conditions
- All returned products will be refunded or exchanged provided they have not been used or damaged. Postage costs will only be refunded if goods received were incorrect, faulty or damaged upon receipt. Photographic evidence may be required to support a claim.
- Returned items should be sent by 1st Class Parcel Post. Perfume Vogue does not cover return postage costs for Special Delivery or any courier service.
- Any returned items must be received within 7 days of purchase to qualify for a refund or replacement.
- Any faulty goods returned after this time may only receive a part refund depending on the amount of product used. Any goods returned more than 30 days after purchase, whether faulty or not, will not be refunded or replaced and the returned goods will be disposed of.
- Any items damaged during return due to insufficient packaging may only receive a part refund at Perfume Vogue's discretion.
- In the rare event of a customer receiving an incorrect item, Perfume Vogue will, upon receipt of the returned incorrect item, send the correct item and refund the return postage. If the customer requires a fast replacement, Perfume Vogue will recharge the customer, send the correct item and on receipt of the returned incorrect item, refund the customer for the cost of their 2nd order and for their return postage.
- Orders returned 'Not Called For' by Royal Mail or our courier will be refunded the cost of products only. Customers will be notified and the order will be cancelled. If they still require the item the customer will need to reorder.
Fragrance Guide
Perfume or Eau de Perfume? Eau de Toilette or Eau de Cologne? It’s hard to know which type of fragrance is right for you, and what makes each one different from the next. The main difference is how much perfume oil each one contains; the higher the percentage of perfume oil, the longer the scent lasts--and the higher the price. To help you make more sense of scents, we’ve put together this quick guide to fragrances. Take a sniff around and discover which fragrances are right for you.
Perfume (or Parfum)
Perfume is the strongest and longest lasting fragrance of all, usually containing between 15% and 25% perfume oil. This also means it’s the most expensive, so it’s a good thing that a little goes a long way. Even a drop of Perfume placed on your pulse points can last up to 8 hours, making it a good choice if you like to wear a fragrance all day long.
Eau de Perfume (or Eau de Parfum)
As its name suggests, Eau de Perfume is a diluted version of Perfume, usually containing between 8% and 15% perfume oil. Since it has less perfume oil, it’s also less expensive, but still provides a fragrant scent for up to 5 hours. This makes it a good alternative if you want the longer lasting effect of a Perfume without the hefty price tag.
Eau de Toilette (EDT)
Eau de Toilette is a lighter version of Eau de Perfume that is considered a ‘middle of the road’ fragrance as it is less expensive and only lasts up to 4 hours. Containing between 4% and 10% perfume oil, Eau de Toilette is popular among men, who prefer to have a fragrance that doesn’t overwhelm the senses or last all day long.
Eau de Cologne (Cologne)
Eau de Cologne is often confused with Eau de Toilette as they both provide a light smelling fragrance. However, Eau de Cologne has less perfume oil, usually containing between 2% and 5%. This makes it more affordable and shorter lasting than Eau de Toilette, so it’s commonly used by men who want a splash of fragrance to start their day or night.
Aftershave (A/S)
Aftershave is often believed to be stronger than Eau de Toilette or Eau de Cologne. This is probably because they have the word ‘eau’ (French for ‘water’) in their name, which could be taken to imply that they are watered down. However, Aftershave contains only 1% to 3% perfume oil. It isn’t meant to last too long because its main purpose is cooling and soothing the skin after shaving, which is where its name comes from.
